Meetings, Podcasts, and Voice Notes
Which of these you can transcribe from a YouTube link, and which need a different tool.
If it is on YouTube, use the captions
A podcast episode, a class, or a recorded talk that is public on YouTube can become text here. Paste the link. Read the transcript. Make notes from the summary.
Show notes from a YouTube podcast are covered in podcast transcripts.
If it is a file or a live call, this is the wrong desk
A Zoom recording on your laptop, a voice memo, or a meeting that was never uploaded is audio you still need transcribed. A talk-to-text app that accepts the file is the right tool. This site does not take uploads.
A meeting that was posted later
Some teams publish the recording to YouTube after the call. Once it is public and captioned, paste that URL. Keep timestamps next to decisions so you can replay the sentence.
